Getting Healthy

article image placeholderUploaded by @Professor42
As I've mentioned, I'm outside and I think I'm a lot better mentally at the moment. I'm going to post a photo below. I'm a little bit extreme with some of the things that I do, my mindset in general. So I burned 1000 calories which is okay, decent. I typically just do a lot of cardio

Boat loads of cardio. Haven't been doing much of swell but haven't done much social media in general. Do you have healt goals? Let me know below

But the only hope for me to be mentally healthy is to have a very regular, thorough exercise routine about four days a week. Sometimes I do five. But my husband bought us Apple watches, and you got to close all three rings in a day. One is calories, one is steps, I think one is exercise and movement. And I realized I saw that I wasn't able to close the rings with what I was doing

I don't know if you have any tips for that, but there are certain foods that I love, and I love a pasta dinner, and I don't want to be restricted, but I also want to be healthy. And I do think my diet needs to improve. So there's it's all making me think. And thanks for sharing. It's an important topic. People don't often realize that mental health is connected to how you treat your body. Have a good night. Bye

@zara sorry for the late response. "pay" to eat what you like or make small compromises 🙂

What I mean by that is diets in general can be good for just the base advice somebody can give you. But if you're dialing it into the details, nothing is ever going to be nothing can never be 100% fully replicated. The reason for that is because we as human beings do not have the same exact genetics. Some of our food sources may be better for us than it would be for others

@zara resistance band training or light resistance weight lifting for cardio?

So the more you work your heart, the better shape it is your lungs, everything. So first suggestion is probably kettlebells with very light weights, because again, you'll do that cardio that you need or want, you'll feel better. You also build muscles. So therefore you'll burn more calories at rest, the more muscle you have

Or I could start even by keeping the yogurt and putting something fully healthy in it, like a healthy granola granola. I don't know. You can sometimes get low sugar versions. Maybe it's just oats that I put in it stir that up. I don't know, or maybe just fruit instead of cereal at all and start like that

Anything that is a little bit more carb complex has better nutrition value, something that I tend to gravitate towards doing. And then the other thing is, like I mentioned in my past, well, just switching from like soda to nothing but seltzer or sparkling water, because again, for me, it was just I think I needed that carbonation. But yeah, that's pretty much all I do. I wish there were more things that did come to mind
