Highland Park 7/4/22

article image placeholderMan taken into custody in connection with July 4th parade shooting that killed 6 in Highland Park: What we know
The question that I have for the swell community, and again I may follow this up after I thought about a little bit more, is what if we had capital punishment as a consequence for such vicious acts?

What if the consequences of such acts were harsher would it help stop such acts https://bit.ly/3OIPnPr

You can't put standards of what we value as life onto other people and think that would be a punishment because definitely they don't value life, so they would not look death in the same loss kind of balance that we do. So, yeah, good question. Thanks

Red Flag laws

Now, with this person in particular, I have to agree with Deb and that I just don't think he values human life, including his own, enough for capital punishment to have been a deterrent. And so many times you see these mass shooters either shoot until they get in a standoff and almost want to be shot in the end or shoot themselves
