Poetry as a FULL-TIME Job???
But I will tell you this, it is something that is attainable. I was in a clubhouse room the other day. I think it was yesterday. And we had this conversation where there are people who did not know that this was a possibility and did not know that there are people out here in the world, wherever you are, in this beautiful world, who are living their lives as full time poets. Guys, I want to help you get there

Hey, Laquita, I just listened to your message. Wow. I did not know that you can make a full time living doing poetry. I've only just been participating in spoken word rooms maybe for the last eight months as I'm able. So this is a whole new avenue that I didn't know about. And I think that when we actually take time to just sit down and do all of the necessary things that would propel us to that particular point, we can definitely forge ahead as a professional poet. And of course that's going to include other things, like maybe you are a host of an event, right?
