Death for Dinner

Philosophy, futurism, religion, those kinds of incredibly nerdy things that if anyone met any of my friends would know that I'm hugely into. So I thought I'd start off on a cheery note and talk about death because I think it's a thing that people hide from. And everywhere you look there's kind of people trying to figure out, oh, how do I be happy? And everybody's stressed out

But to me instead the meaninglessness or the infinitesimalness that's the word of my existence makes the spark of me being present for this brief instant in time all the more amazing and beautiful. To me there's a decreasing of my importance but at the same time just a profound appreciation that I somehow ended up here just for this brief, almost inhalation or exhalation of existence and there's just something so amazing in that and I'm appreciative of it

I like that you frame it in a much more positive way of being grateful, which is actually often I think of it in terms of I don't have to put up with bad things or things that go wrong forever. And, yeah, being grateful is definitely a more positive spin. So I like that. I'd also really love to know what a virtual garden is. But, yeah, I want to be clear that I don't always live up to this

You gave me a bit of a chuckle there at the end, but it's the same way that I see it. When I mentioned the spark, it was in this visual in my mind between the birth and death of stars and nebulas and how long their lifetimes are, if I could use that word lifetime. And then again, how infinitesimal mine is. And, yeah, don't always have that perspective either
