Mental Monday’s: New Beginnings again, again

article image placeholderUploaded by @PKBriggs
So what I like to offer you today, wherever you are in the world, whatever time may be, whatever you got going on in your life, if you're looking for a change, if things aren't moving, you're wondering what's going on, maybe it's going to require an act of faith. We're there, being your God or yourself. My name is PK. I'm not saying that that's an easy thing, because it isn't. But sometimes it's necessary

Inquiring minds want to know!

Yes. Yay. That powers that be confluence of forces like these things we've got to trust in. I have to drop into it more myself. And I love your reminder and it's a great invitation for us to just say, look at nature. There's new beginnings happening all the time. And that's a good reminder that it's just a metaphor. We are part of nature. We have new beginnings

I think what you offer is what is necessary in order to survive within the new job space, to be in that new spot, what it requires, this idea of faith and intuition and hope, but that it also requires us to shift us, to change, us, to transform ourselves. And that's another important part. The great resignation has shown that employees are human beings

@rafaelreyesiii

Hey, Raphael, I know I didn't hear the phrase great resignation. I guess I missed the buzz of that. But wow, it's powerful image, powerful word, powerful phrase. I just want to note here about elasticity of our souls. They're talking about neuroplasticity. They're talking about the ability for us to change, that our beings are supposed to change. It's part of the nature of being, is to change. And I think we've seen so much of that

Frying pan, fire, free yourself! @DBPardes @rafaelreyesiii

And then, to our Rafael's point, we have to know what we know for ourselves and about ourselves sometimes, and we're not going to get that communal validation. People aren't going to understand. For the most part, we live in a world where people like, keep your job and endure type of thing, and then now we're in a world where we're like, no, we are already endorsed something super terrible and painful and traumatic

@PKBriggs: Groundhog Day…

I did want to say this, that while I was listening to you, two things, I don't know why, just sort of jumped into my mind. I'm a very visually oriented person in terms of conceptualizing thoughts and patterns, in terms of my memory and paying attention. And so imagery tends to surface a lot of times. And I'm a movie buff, right? And so two things jump to my mind. One was Westworld

It's undeniable at times and moments of trials that you've faced and when you completely surrender and you just know that something is not in accordance, something is not in alignment with me at the moment. And so I must seek, not necessarily even seek, I must just distance myself from the thing that's no longer serving me or in alignment with me. And sometimes we float and sometimes that floating can be so fearful

@dobbsty 🙏🏾✨☀️☀️ thank you for your energy !

Hey, Ty, thank you so much for such a lovely, lovely message. It really, like, touched my heart, to be completely honest with you. And, yeah, every day is a great day to begin something new. Like, I love that and can understand how that could be a huge sort of concept for some. But also, I think it could be probably the simplest joy you can grab out each day if you really dug into that

@lwatsonjr I LOVE WESTWORLD!

You know, you know, you don't know. So definitely in full acknowledgement of that. So the fresh eyes that you reminded me of is something that I do have. That is something I do have. And I love West World. I couldn't respond when I first heard your message because it was outside. It was just too loud. I love that show so much. The cast is phenomenal
