Mental Monday’s: Delay is not Denial

article image placeholderUploaded by @PKBriggs
Good day, friends. It is Mental Mondays. It's Mental Mondays. It is the evening on the East Coast of the United States of America and NYC. It is also a hot holiday. Monday, I was off. I think most people are off from work, hopefully. And that is why this Mental Monday is coming so late, because I was just still in a weekend frame of mind, and I'm like, wow, it's Monday. It's meant to Mondays

So I'm definitely glad that you posted this because it's resonating hard and I feel like there's a lot of things that I just need to reevaluate and be peace with on my own, and this definitely will help. Thank you

You become more about fight or flight. So I love making it about using laughter as a tool. And then maybe more importantly, like joy and just appreciate acknowledging the value and the power of patience and the power of being challenged in our patients because it makes us much wiser when we recognize that everything is changing all the time and that we have to accept that just doing what we're meant to do but also allowing things to happen too, is equally important

Hey, PK. I'm a little bit late to Monday. It's already Tuesday. But I wanted to just respond a little bit on here with regards to your correct direction. On delay is not Daniel, I think that people operate in different time constraints. And just because we decide to put something on hold or decide to not do it at a certain moment, it doesn't mean that we're not going to do it at all. And we're denying that existence into our life

@Dee94 thank you thank you 😁✨🖤

And the common misconception or the thing that I didn't really realize myself is community College is a really great place to start because sometimes we're just not mature enough to go to College because College is kind of like just expect you to just be ready. And an 18 year old sometimes is not ready for that, you know what I mean? But we have this idea about what it looks like. Go to the four year school, do all these things

@MysticScientist The power of neuroplasticity!! YESS

Hello. Hello, mysticscientist, thank you so much for responding to this well. And I love that the power of patience and timing. And that's absolutely right. And then the exercise or the strengthening from just being challenged. That's an amazing way to look at it. And then Neuroplasticity, I have this book, The Power of Neuroplasticity. You probably have it, too. That's Shad Helmstetter, I think his name is. I love the book so much

@JCB07 We are being set-up for greatness!

And then in some areas of your life or some people, some of us may feel like nothing's happening, but we just got to remember we're not being denied. We're not being denied. We're being set up. We're being set up for something. So something good. Let me go ahead and finish that in a strong way. So, yeah, hope you're having a good week as well. And my week is going pretty exhausting if I'm being honest
