Accepting my weird!

article image placeholderUploaded by @realbriggster
I don't think I'll ever be that person, but I'm just trying to embrace whatever the weird is in me because it's a part of me, right? Versus trying to reject it or be something else. And these components are ingredients. There are the things that make us us, and no one's ever going to be me. No one's ever going to be you, whomever you are

Nobody can do you like you.

Do you feel weird sometimes? That's okay, though, right? Yes. There's nothing wrong feeling weird. Feeling weird is good. And if people say you're weird, it's about probably some of the differences in us that make us unique, right? Yeah. I think this was a good post and a good reflection on accepting weirdness because weirdness shows us that we're unique and valuable. And if we did it, then would we even. I love those silly dances, though

Love.

Best response ever. Yeah. I think you are both absolutely correct. These are the things that make us. Our ingredients are different. And our uniqueness and things that only, like Raphael is only going to be Rafael because of his touch of weird. Santiago will only be Santa. And then what Rafael does. Santiago cannot do what Sontaia does. Raphael cannot do. We have our unique purposes and our uniqueness. So I love that. And Hello to your son

If I could say that when we've been talking about differences. But it's also authentic. Right. If they didn't say we were weird, then maybe we should be worrying. Right. But that we are weird. That means we're breaking from that, which is, quote, unquote, other normative or the norm. So we have to celebrate when people see our weirdness, because I think they're also saying we're authentic

Hello. Thank you for this post. I appreciate it. It's been cool to listen to this conversation, and now I just want to jump in. I think that the world on our society construct white supremacy and capitalism gains from pushing us down and making us think that we're less than and questioning ourselves all of the time. So there's a lot of subliminal pressure to make us hate ourselves

So dope. Thank you so much. Thank you. I receive all that, like I felt that I felt that and just that quickly, I forgot to quote, but about the courage to be disliked. That is so powerful, because we live in a world that is about people pleasing. And even the piece that you're mentioning about, like, white supremacy, like the air that we breathe. It's like other invisible, not even invisible. That's crazy

And it's like, yeah, God is one of us to me. I see that as like, everyone is a beautiful child of God. And sometimes out of our chaos and confusion, we act out of our pathologies, whatever life has happened to us and our experiences, and we can have a good, good behaviors. But every day, there's new mercy. Every moment, there's a chance for transformation, moment to moment

Colors are like people: beautifully weird.

Yet it denied the freedom to be uniquely dazzling. Turquoise and neon pink are shades of light, too. A collective of color is in motion together, expressing God, this leaves no room for superior colors. The opportunities are infinite. Colors can coexist. If only we thought of the colors in between, this world would be appearing more colorful and we would see the unseen. I've witnessed glacier white peaks at 29

And that is beautiful. Yes. You can say that is oddly weird. And yes, it helps us to control to show us the difference of emotions that we have in ourselves and in others or how we're feeling and how we express ourselves. But there's a beauty to that. There's a beauty in that. I'm so happy that there are a spectrum of colors

And just as you were describing the scenery, I just was imagining, what would it be like to be a bird flying by to witness everything that was happening there's this book out there called When God Was a Bird. It's about like pantheism but really cool concept and looking at the album that is and that all there is is God and God is all there is and that type of theological framework and the honoring that is implied in that kind of reverence

I weep too.

I weep for the colors in between. I love that no color is superior and no color exists without all the colors that's beautiful. As always. Thank you
