Mental Monday’s: You have Power Over Your Perspective.

article image placeholderUploaded by @PKBriggs
And what hit me overwhelmingly is this word perspective. Perspective. Perspective. Perspective dropped in my spirit. And I've probably talked about perspective before. I mean, you can never talk enough about perspective. And what I try to do is in my life, my faith walk. Right, because I live what I believe. I try to anyway, not perfectly, but I try. But sometimes people don't believe as you believe. We think different things, we feel different things

But what is too long and what sort of steps should a person take if they're just stuck in such a rut of grief to get out of that? Interesting questions I have about moving on in life. I think it can be really hard for some people, like, exceptionally hard for some people. That's something I want to wonder and kind of worry about. But yeah, thanks for making this post. Like always

@PKBriggs Serendipity?...

But the other thing you mentioned, apart from this vision of half full or half empty glass, which I want to leave a site because it doesn't correspond to me, the other parts you mentioned, namely in power of one and we can trust ourselves, that we will manage to face these unhappy moments which are going to be for us. Yes, we will have to face car chips, loss of loved ones, hard times in our job or whatever, all kinds

@Dee94 Grief and necessary time to overcome it. / Will power vs life...

We sometimes don't need to push to survive. There are some rhythms grief goes by. When it goes by, there are some rhythms which are common to all human beings. More or less. Two years to start overcoming death of a closed person. There are some things that people say which could be some general rule of thumbs, and that's it. My questioning is always about willpower. We try to push ourselves to be good. I did, at least

Perspective over time

It's amazing how this conversation about perspective opened up a conversation about the management of grief and the management of perspective, on how we manage the narrative in our heads when we have lost. And it's so interesting to hear how time changes our perspective, and time is a partner to perspective

#perspective #grief #howtofixabrokenheart

I discovered this book recently, which really helped me shift my perspective on my own experiences of grief and kind of see how I did get stuck in some pretty negative patterns that made it actually quite hard to repair and to get through that grief. And it's actually a Ted Talk by Guy Winch. And it's called how to Fix a Broken Heart, so you might find it as a Ted Talk on the Internet

Hey, good morning, Joe. Thank you so much for responding to this. Swell. I appreciate all that you shared, and particularly for me. I like how you just pointed out again, like over time that we can we can things that we experience into grief, whether this relationship grief or grief over death. Well, death of life, death of relationship

@jo.dyer.art Thank you for your testimony!... Appreciated dearly!

Hello, Jo Zaki from Switzerland. Thank you for sharing these reflections and your personal experience. It was taking and thoughtful. And yesterday in general, I tend to find moving things to moving. But this was so authentic and yes, deep going and simply burying humane and authentic. And I thought, yes, I could feel with you and what you had experienced. Is it because I had just finished watching The Four Daughters of Doctor March, this older film, which was very well made
