Beer Journal: About the Hops!

article image placeholderUploaded by @PKBriggs
So that is very much an environmental situation. Like, I'll drink a lager with her and it'll go down just fine outside on my own, or if I go to a place I would never in life order a logger. So that's number one. Number two, my beer journey did begin with lagers, because that was really all the beers I had in my area

Personally, I’m a winter beer enthusiast

I absolutely loved this. Well, Cast, as somebody who is trying to get more into your drinking and getting to know what I'm actually consuming me whenever it is, I go out. I am personally a longer person, so it's funny that you're not. And as for Go, so I had no idea that was the type of beer that existed

I am now redetermined to find one winter beer, I like 😁 @kendallmilender

And in Massachusetts, I went to Harpoon Brewery once, when I went to Massachusetts, and they have excellent beers and I like their style. I think they have a winter beer too. I'll taste it because I just love beer. Just so I can know. I don't want to make an uninformed opinion, but I have on town when I like

Okay, so I'm not a huge beer drinker. I do like beer. It's funny. I'm actually drinking beer right now. You might call a bad beer. It's a Miller High life. My mom swears by these, and it's pretty much the only beer that we ever have around unless I buy some sort of hipster IPA. I really like IPAs. Like how hard they hit. I appreciate the taste and the refined kind of acquiredness that they have about them

So this has been really cool to hear what you have to share as well as what you've learned, and then also what others on here have experienced with or really like. And I think that's really cool to exchange some ideas. So thanks for sharing, hearing

@Dee94 not the champagne of beers 😁😁! It is a cookout classic!

No, you did not say the champagne beers. I mean, honestly, my grandmother, God rests her lovely soul and my Aunt Lula and God rest hers as well. They would would have those Miller highlifes going. And I've obviously drank them. I've had them. They are also not good, but it's environmental, right? Because I was at a dive bar over the summer and they had it and it just felt like the right thing to drink there. So I had one

@Kendy_ one sour that I love!

Again, sugar. I do appreciate some sours, some of them, but they can get very sour. But there's one I can't remember the name of it, but there's a lady on the bottle. I think she's a nun, actually. My friend, one of my friends introduced me to it. And that's pretty. She loves sours. And it's very drinkable

Drink once, twice a year but I like Corona. Can you do part 2? @PKBriggs

And then there was the Bat lime, which any lime drinks are always a good beer for me from what I like. And then from there it went to where did it go to next? It went to, I believe it was Coronas. No, after that it went to Rolling Rock, which is possibly surprising. And then it went to Corona. So Coronas are pretty much mine. My main preference, only because of the taste, the flavor

At your request and my deep gratitude 🙏🏾 @Professor42

Hey, professor 42, thank you for responding to this swell. And I don't know if I've expressed this in swell. I think I have. But I merely only need to be asked to talk about beer because I can talk about beer for a very long time. Time, all the time. So I'm going to do another beer Journal and I will address your questions. Thank you so much for asking because I really do love talking about it
