Origin stories.

But he wrote Carnival, like in the 90s, but they were like that's too long for a movie or too short for a book. It was not just the interest, wasn't there. So eleven years later, he had created a website where he put his resume up. And he put, like, what he wrote was like a first act for it. And then finally it was pitched to some people at HBO, and it was picked up. And it was fantastic

Thanks always for the perspective check

It wasn't disruptive at all. And I agree I don't like the pauses very much. Sometimes you have to do them, and sometimes they're indetectable, and other times they're very abrupt. And yeah, I agree. But anyway, to your point about considering your origin story, thank you so much. I think people really need to remind themselves of this. It's a really important perspective check, and it helps us remember the evolution of any creative endeavor that it does start small

@JLMcMillan Thank you 🙏🏾 🙏🏾✨

And then when you make it right, there's a certain amount of work that comes with laboring to keep it so totally on vibe with everything you're saying. Thank you so much. And I didn't I know that about Harrison Ford, and that is really interesting because he's, like, mega successful, but yeah, have an amazing day. Thanks for responding. Bye

And I've been thinking about it because I encountered an article yesterday, and it was a really nice piece of creative nonfiction celebrating that first apartment and how they were sometimes really rough times, but really wonderful times, the kind of beginning that the true sort of origin stories in many ways. And there's much to celebrate about that and not be ashamed of. And yeah, I'm going to attach a quick article on Harrison Ford because I had wanted to correct myself. It wasn't a set designer

Thanks to JL and PK for the inspiration!

We just knew each other for quite a long time. Always loved what she did. And she has such her own signature approach. And she's a pretty special person, just as a human being. She's a person that you would follow into any kind of crazy situation. Or, I'd say, ambitious situation and just she really inspired respect and loyalty. And when I saw that, I knew she was going to be on it

Wow!! Sooo awesome!! @Marconorth

And maybe because it was where I was at that time, wanting to be a writer and create something like, amazing or interesting at least, or something that people would see. But it just always inspires me when I think about that, because ten years is a long time to live with something and then something happens. I would say you're almost at the point where you think nothing is going to happen. So yeah. So thank you for sharing this well and adding your vibe to it

I'm like a little bit of a horse of a different color. I'm a filmmaker, which means I write, shoot, direct, edit the color. Correct. The freaking website. It's all me, and I'm really happy to do that. And over time, I did get pretty d*** good at it. But the way I ask myself, have I been successful at this? It's such a messy conversation, and it's very awkward and often quite painful

@marconorth Thank you so much for the encouragement 🙏🏾

And then I'll meet people who said maybe my words affected them or something I did affected them. And then I think, okay, then maybe it all hasn't pointless. Who knows? But I see what you're saying. Thank you. I take it as encouragement. And it's a pleasure getting to know you in the swell verse. And swell is awesome. Right. Peace. Bye
