Let's have more and less build up black travel not as a fashion show or flex, but as people who want to know more about cultures that aren't our own out here in the world and to be a part of something bigger

And I agree, it would be great to see some of us hiking, going through cities, talking with people, really connecting with the culture of what exists in that particular place that you're at. And it's an unfortunate thing. I think the mindset is that I'm on vacation and so I'm going to do things that I aspire to do but I can't traditionally do when I'm not on vacation

Why don't you go ahead and start that thread? And if you have an Instagram and you're already doing that, please, and you're open to randoms following you, I would love to see your journey progress and your followers increase because I'm pretty sure others are just as hungry for that type of information and glimpse of what authentic, raw, unedited travel looks like. And I can say this is how you know I'm due for another trip

And so going back to the original point here, the disappointment was just that when you see these, when you see us over glamorizing travel, it kind of disheartens. It kind of reaches to the wrong audience, I think, because it makes it look like we have to take out a second mortgage on our house just to be able to have this kind of fun and travel

There needs to be some sort of diversity or we need to involve or create a conversation where travel isn't just some flex. Some people can afford it, some people can't. Because when I look at this type of travel, I feel bad for people who lee this sort of thing and think, I could never afford that. And in fact, I'm creating a course right now where it's all about anyone can travel regardless of the money that you have in your bank account
