I wanted to share this picture of red berries taken in a garden using Portrait mode on my phone. I don't know if anybody else likes doing this, taking pictures of nonhuman subjects using the the Portrait Mode feature in most of these popular phones out there, I somehow get a kick out of them and I've taken quite a few just wanted to share one

I have never used that feature, and I love it. I've seen it. And now I know that it's. That's what it is, because you just showed us. So thank you for telling us the trade secret. So I'm going to try it now. Wonderful

This is a terrific idea, and as soon as I get a phone with Portrait Mode, I will try it. I have an old iphone six, so it doesn't have that feature, but I do have an App Photoshop camera, which can approximate it in post production. And I've been trying it out and it doesn't work on plants. The algorithm can't recognize that there's something in the foreground if there's a lot of branches and leaves and round bits and colors
