He kind of took a couple of rounds off, admitted that he got a little tired in the post fight interview, but after not fighting for a year, I think that was somewhat to be expected. I thought an okay fight. Danny really had trouble getting off, and that happens. That really happens with guys who are trying to time and counter punch. Sometimes you just don't get the chance to really exploit your timing there

What's up, Phil? Yeah, I just finished watching the fight again. I wasn't at home because I'm on my way down right now to California, to to see my mom before she passed a****. But the fight pretty much played out the way I thought it was going to play out. I just watched it again, and Spencer just kept his a** out there on that jab, and he just never let Danny get comfortable at all

Now, I will say from a judging standpoint, sometimes what can happen, and you think about it. If one fighter is dominating and say, Fighter A wins the first six rounds and then fighter B in round seven, maybe he doesn't do enough to win, but he does better. Sometimes judges will overcompensate that fighter and say, hey, this guy did a lot better in round seven than he did in round six, or he's having a better round

And that's one of the things that I think is wrong in boxing is when your superstars only fight twice a year, you lose a lot of momentum and excitement. Hey, it was exciting to see Spence back. He's back. He doesn't have any ill effects from the crash. So I want to see him again. I want to see what's next. Hey, now, if it's him and Crawford, that fight in the summer, okay. I'll wait for that

I think it is especially considering that Floyd got his 50th victory off an MMA fighter going into boxing. So that was like a free fight. And then you put that on your record. That shouldn't have even been on his record. He should have just chalk that up as an exhibition and then fought a real fighter, a real boxer after that. So that's just my thoughts on it
