Liz Cheney is out: James Carville's thoughts

article image placeholderThe vote to oust Liz Cheney took only 16 minutes. Here's what happened.
And I think one of the reasons you didn't see the big blue wave that people predicted was because of Liz Cheney and the recruiting job that she did, especially in those battleground elections that were ultra close. She did a really great job. And I am as much at a loss as James Carvel is here on her being ostracized from the party. And I think if you're a member of the GOP, you got to take a look at this as potentially a warning sign. I don't know

Hey, Phil, I think she is a very smart lady. And she has very powerful backers. And she has very powerful connections. So it will be interesting to see what chess moves she makes because I think this is just the start of a serious past struggle in the GOP

Will Liz Cheney get her own show on CNN? You decide

But regardless, I think this article that just came out on CNN talks about how in the attempt to get rid of List Jaini, what they really handed her is a huge megaphone and a platform for her to really take this case forward because I do know of a lot of Republicans out there who are just sick and tired of the Trumplican doctrine. And so this could potentially be a path to have the Republican Party split into two

This is about primaries, and appealing to the diehards.@Taylor@Phil

But primaries will get dirtier and dirtier as the only two candidates who appeal to the die hards and frankly, a little bit off colors will come out and vote. It's an interesting part of the US is in. I don't know how to solve it. I think it will take possibly a generation to solve the issue. Would love to get your thoughts on it as well

Michael. Yeah. I actually think that you're spoton. So my Liz Cheney comment about CNN was more in line actually with what you're saying in the sense that I don't really think CNN is to the left at all. And it plays it up as thoughts. It is. Msnbc does the same thing and you broke it down really well

Agreed on primaries. It's All or Nothing politics now

I mean, there's just more passionate people, more people on the fringes that are voting in these primaries and people that are more middle of the road, people that might have a different idea on a different platform, they get lost in the wake and they kind of get left behind. And then we're left
