# 4 Penn State vs #3 Iowa

article image placeholderUploaded by @Phil
Well, there's no doubt that the biggest game of this weekend is number three, Iowa taking on number four Penn State. This is a monumental clash in the Big Ten and could very well decide who is going to be the Big Ten champion. So let's get get into it. Both these teams come into this game undefeated, but more than that, if we take a look at 2020, 2020 was a disaster for Penn State. However, they won their last six games

Let's get into it!

We Are!

Phil, you and I are on the same page here. I think a big thing that you noted and I want to expand on a little more is the field position game. If you watched Iowa's games before their defense puts them in good position to succeed because I was offense based off the defense getting turnovers. It's starting in other teams 50. And I don't see Penn State making a lot of errors and have their defense have to conquer down

PSU one dimensional?

Iowa's defense wants you to be one dimensional, and Penn State already comes in as a mostly one dimensional offense. I don't know how Penn State is going to be able to overcome the Hawkeye defense consistently without a consistent at least the guise of being able to run the ball. Now, I don't think I was going to run away with this game by any means. Penn State has a very good defense in their own right

Tony, I'm curious as to what you think of that Iowa Colorado State game? Was that just a blip? I know they won that by ten points, but on another swell, you mentioned they were playing against Colorado State this weekend, and you implied, I don't want to put words in your mind, but you implied that Colorado State is just not a very good team. I would agree with that assessment, if that's what you're saying

@Phil

I believe they took over on the 35 yard line and scored ultimately on a ten yard rush, something like that. And the second one was on an interception, and they only had to get 22, 23 yards to score that touchdown. That gave them a 14 to seven lead. So they were by no means driving on the Hawkeye. The Hawkeyes made a couple of errors that they don't usually make

IOWA

I just don't really like how Iowa quarterbacks play, really. But I really have been liking how Petrus has been playing. So I really am loving Iowa in this game. I think it will be a low scoring game. Like you said, both defenses are really good, but I just feel like Iowa's offensive line is better than Penn State's offensive line. So I think Iowa can run the ball better than Penn State can
