What is changing for good in this environment?

But I talked to a pharmacist friend of mine who said that his company was paranoid about losing even one prescription because they believe once you lost that one prescription, you would lose that customer for good because it was habit for me. And I think we're developing new habits every day here, and I think out of that will result in change

We are changing habits and lifestyles right now. Which ones will be permanent and what changes will result?

No more closed door planning. #discovery #humility #patience

So instead of building these big brick buildings, not brick, the monolithic buildings that represent progress that are sort of impenetrable change because people make it and it's happening and they'll build it and will come. I think we have to shift and change and go back to this discovery mode, this playful mode, this sense of like, okay, the world's changed. How can we show up and serve the people in the world?

#workfromhome #covid19

So that's where I would spend my time as I'm thinking about the new business landscape post the crisis. What does work from home do to whatever business area, business process, product that you are working on? You're interested in? How does this whole new normal of there being more people working from home, fewer people in offices in one location? What does that do to your business model? I think that's what I find the most fascinating at this point

And of course, there's another win situation when you don't have to spend as much on real estate or real estate logistics. Of course, you have other logistics you have to take care of. But in comparison, it looks like it's a net benefit from that angle as well. So yes, I think work from home is here to stay. The other thing is we have to look at what sort of economic outfall you'll have from this trend

Let's enact our values by fighting for more just policies

Thank you so much for starting this conversation, Phil, something that I am most excited about that, I think and hope is changing for the good is I feel like the pandemic has allowed people to really see where the hurriedness of their normal lives is sometimes getting in the way of them taking action and being thoughtful about the things they really value. And I know for me an area where that's been the case is in relation to the environment

Looking forward to a fascinating new global landscape post #covid19

For this pandemic has exposed the world's risky dependence on global supply chains, so we could see a massive restructuring in maybe production and sourcing as more and more companies localize their manufacture and supply chains. Another point that I'd like to add is that environmental change that's been one of our biggest challenges. And in spite of all that we've done over the last few decades, we haven't really made significant progress

And that's right about the time that my daughter said I wouldn't mind having a Nintendo Switch. So I spent months trying to find a Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo was caught by surprise not realizing that there would be this demand for this, but they couldn't build them because they couldn't get the challenges in the supply chain to actually build them. So here it is. They have the most perfect opportunity to sell their product and they can't build it

I found it very interesting that there have been reports that have been published about the fact that seeing as we're not driving so much, the air is getting cleaner. And I look at that. And then I think back to President Trump and his telling the auto manufacturers that he would like to go back to old emissions standards. And he is trying to get 23 States who have voted for and have demanded higher emissions standards to go back to old standards

I approached the Procter and gambles of this world and they didn't want to have any part of allowing me to take tide in concentrated form because they didn't want to lose shelf life. I approached a couple of vending companies to see if I could get their engineers to actually help me design a machine. I'm not an engineer, although I grew up in the vending business and I understand how these things work

#public health system

Hi, it's been wonderful to listen to so many perspectives on the world postcode. My thoughts are pertaining to the public health system. I feel that governments will now seriously, you need to look at building robust public health systems supporting public health systems so that they can rise up to the challenge of catering to a population that is not just railing under the after effects of the pandemic, but is also coping with the losses that the economy has suffered
