If the Kentucky Derby is on your bucket list, please understand that you will most likely be spending a ton of money to scratch this one off your list. However, as somebody who's spent many derbies over the years, there are still ways to do this without spending a ton of money and without losing that Derby experience. Wherever you are getting your tickets, you have to be there. You cannot be floating around. You really can't be there in the morning and watch workouts, whereas on Tuesday and Wednesday you can. And you're really seeing the build up of the Derby and I think that's much more exciting. Talking about the Derby on Wednesday and Thursday at the track is a lot more exciting than the actual Derby itself. You're just going to have to trust me on that one
