The Greatest Tuesday Night Game Ever

article image placeholderUploaded by @Phil
And this is a team that beat Iowa State in the first game of the season last year by three scores. They brought most everybody back, including the quarterback, Levi Lewis. However, they just haven't looked like the same team that they were last year. They've been a little bit laxadaisial. They have not been consistent on offense

Find the right double result play!

Phil, I'm glad you took a look at this. You actually broke down the game basically the same way that I was thinking about it this morning, and I would agree with you. It is probably one of the best Tuesday night games that we have seen. These are two very talented teams that consistently fly under the radar just because of where they play

A 28 to 21 game gets under, so you got to have more than seven scores here. And I don't think it's unreasonable. I think it could very well comfortably go over. But I am a little bit concerned about Appalachian States running game and chipping time off the clock

And only one team shows up. In which case, I don't really think it's out of the realm of possibility for a blow out minded team to score 40. Truthfully. And so at that point, you're saying, okay, you get 40, 41 points, the other guy sports bar touchdown of field goal, and you're over it. So that's kind of where I was thinking on the 50 and a half. It seems like a comfortable lower margin to hit

Great call @tonymo!

Look out for them in a bowl game. Whoever they play in a bowl game, they're going to come ready to play just like they did tonight. And they've got the talent to do very well in a bowl game. So that's was a big test for me. Like what I saw out of them. Congratulations on your bet. That was a big one

Yeah, Phil. Luckily that worked out pretty well. My only regret on that, I guess, is even bothering with the seven and a half didn't need that, but hindsight is 2020. You are right that everything that went that could go wrong. Perhaps State went wrong. I would say, however, while it doesn't have a bearing on the outcome in conference necessarily, it could have a bearing on their bowl placement, even if they end up beating Coastal, beating Louisiana
