The Nicholas Brothers: The Greatest Dancers who have ever tapped

article image placeholderFayard and Harold
And actually, I would challenge anybody to produce a video from anything sooner than 80 years ago. That's as good as this dance routine. And if you've seen it, I think you'll have no problem watching it again. And if you haven't seen it, enjoy

But if you know how things worked back then, things were just shot until it was done correctly, like you had to keep doing it and keep so who knows how many times they had to do that exhaustive routine, which is just as much acrobatic as it is. Dancing. Harold Nicholas, my first real introduction to him. One of my favorite films as a kid was Uptown Saturday Night with Bill Cosby and Sydney Partier. And he plays Seymour Pedigree

But I was thinking about the people who designed the set and those steps that they went up and how they probably measured the exact height of each step to accommodate what they wanted to do. Cascading up those steps. Just incredible. Oh, my God. Thank you for sharing. It's wonderful, wonderful. And Joe, thanks for Nutcracker comment. It was very funny

You'll see, Miltonborough, if you watch the first part, Lynn Barry is the singer who's with the band, and Tex Benneki and the modern airs are in there, too. But Glenn does his thing with the song first, and then the Nicholas Brothers enhance it with their dancing. So I've liked to watch them over the years as tap dancers. I think in some of the movies they've been in, too

I remember watching the Nicholas movies, the Gene Kelly Freddaste type movies that really made you feel good and were a part of my youth growing up. I also remember many, many moons ago reading an article in the A sports illustrate about who was the greatest athlete. And at that time, they did a whole thing on a couple of the Russian ballet dancers. I can't remember which ballet dancers it was specifically, but they took you through the moves that these guys did

Hello, Phil. Thank you for this. I was trying to find some posts that I could relate to because I do dance. I've been dancing since 6th grade, so I started a little late, but I've been doing it for a while and actually remember learning about the Nicholas Brothers. I think it was either six or 7th grade
