And I think one of the main reasons is I've just always thought of this as a retirement game, something you play when you're done with tennis, something that senior citizens play. And over the past year, I've just seen more and younger people playing the sports bar talking about the sport, and that's what kind of really propelled me into playing it

I'm familiar with table tennis, but I love tennis, but I don't know how to play. So for this, I think it's easy for me to start to practice this kind of sport. So in the veranda of our house, which is a flat, solid surface, I took a bench and put that as a net in the middle. And the area of that the playable area would have been something like, I think, slightly smaller than the size of the pickleball court that I can see right now. And we would play with table tennis rackets and table tennis balls. And it's like basically Ping pong on the floor

But Luckily, I think there's a lot of parks and recreation places that are putting up just pickleball courts and demolishing like Horseshoe pits and some of the older time activities that just aren't getting used. So hopefully that trend continues. And we can live in a pickleball and tennis world
