2020 French Open Swell

Now, on day one, already on the men's side, we had Stanwell Rinka playing Andy Murray. This is crazy. I believe they have five majors between them and maybe six, but they both won majors. And Stanwell Renko actually took care of Andy Murray today, and Andy Murray for as great a career as he's had. This kind of feels like a farewell tour in 2020

The first fall edition of the French Open

Bienville mes amis!

She had to go to a tie break in the first set, but then rolled six nothing and back to the men's side. Fabio Fujini lost today. Now, Fabio, I think he can play with anybody in this tournament except the fact that he just has battled injuries and battled them. And it looks like just by looking at the score, he lost the last set six months, and it seems like it's probably injury focused there where he just kind of gave in

Serena Williams out. Coco Gauff at about 715am PT.

And that's Hennon and graph. You have to go back to graph. So this is a tournament that is pretty random in winning. You don't see a lot of women going back to back and having a lot of consistency on the clay, and Serena is one of those. So Unfortunately, Serena is out also out as Azerinka. Azarinca, who finished second in the US Open, bows out today to schmidlova. It sounds like something that Laverne and Shirley said at the opening of their show

The American women must be homesick!

So if somebody tried to callball out on you, you'd be like, there's no way I heard it hit the tape. And then, of course, there was always those people that would make a Mark in the clay with their foot and then try to pawn that off as that's where the ball was. That happened. It happened quite often, all sorts of fun stuff on the clay there. But I kind of like the fact that there is no instant replay

American Sebastian Korda has announced his arrival!

But Sebastian Quarter, it might be the next big thing in US men's tennis. So fun to watch these guys kind of break out like that. Another suspended match, Stanley Renko. He's won one with the French player Gaston. And that will be interesting to see how that finishes. Dominic Dean kind of had the same day as Simona Halep. Just kind of cruised through Rude earlier today, and Dean is really playing well

Two American women playing today

Well, it was a wild weekend at the French Open. We saw the number one seat on the women's side go out in shocking fashion to an unknown 19 year old from Poland named, I guess Swayatch. And that really was the theme of the weekend. You saw a lot of 19 and 20 yearolds having success assess in this tournament and youth is being served this year. The women's bracket has been upset a little bit. The number one seed and number two seed are out

Wednesday morning matchups are must see TV!

Well, we're halfway to the semifinals at the French Open, and if you are up at night here, make sure you set your alarm for tomorrow morning. And if you are getting this in the morning, make sure to turn your TV on. Because the men's side is going to have two outstanding matchups. The first matchup is going to be Rubelev against Sitsypass. These are two youngsters. These are two of the next generation of tennis players

He's just not a big guy, and I think it's really tough to match up with some of these guys that are bigger and more powerful. He just is amazing. He's absolutely amazing. He's inspiring. The second match is one that I'm really looking forward to since he pass and Jokovichovic seems to he was grabbing his left arm against Busta. He called for a medical time out. He's got tape on his neck

Nadal the King of Clay

It was just wonderful to watch him play, never giving up on any game at any point. And just the amount of balls that he's able to get to with his feet, just the footwork of watching this athlete run the court is just phenomenal. He is just really something to watch. And it was fun seeing them. I did want a more competitive match, but it was fantastic tennis once again, as it always is with Raphael
