Is Marriage a Business?
As I've gone through my PhD first course and the expansion of business in the 21st century, I started to realize, like yo am I responsible for the social wellbeing of my family? Am I responsible for the political wellbeing of what people think about my family? Am I responsible for leading them with vision, inspiring them? Am I responsible for leading them by task and having action sense of leadership?
I said earlier, in an earlier episode, I said in marriage you're in a financial legal partnership where you do things like manage money, make joint decisions, and communicate with each other about dozens of day to day issues. So if there's an issue within the home, do you give up the goal of being a successful partnership?
And I think in today's world, they're calling a trauma, right? Like, oh, you have these traumas that you have to get rid of. But how many of us don't even talk about that? How many of us don't even push that issue? So when I think about consumption knowledge versus creation knowledge in this task that I did in my PhD course, I think, okay, most of us are consumers about marriage

Otherwise you kind of lose. You become business partners who maybe share brief moments of intimacy. But I think it should be the alternative of two people who come together to be intimate and share brief moments of business. Because realistically, whether your spouse is in your field of line of work or not, you're still going to bounce ideas, debrief and kind of lean on them for support in your business and your career
