Is plastic surgery actually empowering women?

article image placeholderUploaded by @pavitramenon
It is fine to get plastic surgery. It is your body and it is your choice to do what you want. But I'm going to disagree with the part if it's a feminist thing, cosmetic surgery requires you to alter your features and just change the way that either your nose was lips were. And this is not an easy thing to do. The procedure for these take a toll a big toll on the person

But do I think it's feminist? No, definitely not in any way, because at the end of the day, feminism is basically getting equal rights for women. What equal right does plastic surgery bring? I don't get that. And plastic surgery promotes changing your natural beauty, which is not at all. Okay. And again, it's because of society and how normalizes become and the whole ridiculous beauty standards that we have, which is right
