When the ghosts are nice and considerate - Nale Ba

article image placeholderUploaded by @pavitramenon
Let me know if you guys want me to talk about any other creepy stories, I would love to research and talk about it. Till then, stay safe, be happy and don't let some random rich enter your house

The legend that inspired Stree. One of the few ghost stories in which the spirit seems to be understanding and considerate of your feelings. 🤷‍♀️

I guess what it made me think of is the stories about vampires where you have to tell them that they're allowed to enter before they can go into a place. So that's kind of an interesting thing. And I was going to ask so I can't fully see in the picture. But would people actually write nalaiba on their doors?

Hello. It is not common, not really anymore to see these varieties and inscriptions on the walls that have been painted over. As I said, it was very popular in the 90s, so new walls, having painted over new buildings have been constructed and just people's belief in superstitions drastically decreased since then. But yes, in certain villages in Bangalore, you can still find it. They still believe in practice it. And thus they have writing of Naleba written outside their doors or walls in Canada
