What songs/scriptures do you want for your funeral/life celebration?

So we know her favorite artists and bands and whatnot. So we have a pretty good idea but I just was wondering if anybody had discussed those types of things and what it is you would want. And I've left a picture of the beautiful Irish. The parting glass is mine. I love what it says. I will put a link also for it

And in this particular video, I think it's the few lyrics that I do understand plus the visuals and this feeling of it being, yes, moments of grief, but ultimately a celebration of what it is to be alive and how rare and beautiful it is to truly, simply live. And this video sort of embodies a lot of that for me

@SeekingPlumb ... I .... Am blown away by this. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Okay, listen, we're gonna have problems because I ruined my makeup. Okay with that? Now? I'm just kidding. But I mean, I did it. My made me cry. It was very beautiful. I didn't know how to respond, really to it, so it took a minute, because I just blown away by the beauty of it. It's it moved me. Thank you very much. And I will share it as well

I do think The Parting Glass is a perfect song. I would love it if someone were to sing that or play it at my memorial service. But actually, the one quote I would like read or just sent home with people is from the novelist Raymond Carver. I'll include a photo here of his grave marker. It's from a poem he wrote near the end of his life called Light Fragment. And the quote is and did you get what you wanted from this life? Even so?

But you know what I want, and you know that when I leave, I'm really not gone. And you know that even though you're not here, you're here. I'll be that eyelash in your eye. You can't get out. You know that. I love you. Get out. It's great. Swell. I don't know if I'm going to post this. We'll see

I just wanted to throw in here a little on something there for Chris. I think it's just precious. She was there for his first breath and he was there for her last. And that's something that he's going to be able to hold forever. Well done, Ms. Yell. Well done, Chris

One of the last conversations I had with her, because there was a moment, it's like she was walking me out and I stopped, I looked over at her and I said, I love you. And she looked back to me. She looked back at me and she kind of paused and she looked at me and she said, I love you too
