A stranger's kindness

article image placeholderUploaded by @OwenWilsonsNoze
I had a person come into Dairy Queen where I was working at the time, and it was crazy on a summer night, and I had a migraine. It was awful. And people usually tend to treat people in that type of field not so pleasant. It was really hectic and I had the front. I was doing it, just me, and people did not care if I had a migraine or not. Wasn't moving as fast as I should have been, I guess

An unforgettable stranger - tell me about yours

Hey, Lindsey. Thank you so much for sharing. This was nice. I've had a lot of positive experiences like this in my life and I'm very grateful for them. That a lot of people come into my life and do amazing things and I can think of a few off the top of my head. I'll tell you about the recent one. I'll tell you about the most recent one

The Dude with the Coldplay cover! Hello!

Oh, my gosh. First, let me say, Lindsey, I love that story about that that angel that came in and was this amazing thing for you. And one thing that I believe he also did for you is instilled that in you that calm, peaceful residents and then you actually do that with other people from time to time. I've seen it amazing. Nonetheless, however, my comment is for the dude with the yellow cover. I was blown away by that

A strangers kindness

And surprisingly enough, this government agent was actually able to help another member in my family through a challenging moment as well, so just sort of came back full circle. And it's really amazing what the kindness of a stranger or secret stranger through the years can provide. Someone really just instill hope in you and inspire you to get through your hardest moments. So thank you for sharing yours. And I included a picture of my grandmother and her two brothers in the 1940s

Music. Thank you for your awesome responses. I love stories like this, you know, and then Vinny finding out that that made your day, in turn, made my mom's day. Because the lady that was giving you that compliment that brightened your day was my mom. And she was so touched by your comments about that. She was crying telling me about it. It's just cool because you never know

But many don't understand or see it the same way. But when it's my birthday, at Christmas time, I'll often order food in. And on this particular birthday, wherever I ordered food from, I was hoping they might have something a little sweet to sort of be my sort of birthday cake sort of thing. And I remember saying to the person who delivered I was bummed they didn't have anything sweet on their menu or something like that

It's really cool that there are people like that that will go out of their way for a stranger. It gives hope. It gives some faith in the world to hear stories like this. So the negative always getting me the attention. The mouthguard didn't make me laugh. I really hope they didn't get fired either. But that's huge. I would have been shocked. I don't even know what I would have done

I like to think I approach it as an artist, but at the same time, not just with all heart, with a little bit of brain also because I think as creative people, we all still need to keep ourselves accountable and not just live like life the way we just want to. I believe in some form of structure, and when I sort of let myself down by not being able to hit those targets that I created for myself, it was a really crappy day for me that day

She also took me into that school because all of the other schools didn't take me in because I didn't do too well in my 9th grade. And here in India, the 10th grade is extremely important. And schools don't want students who do badly in their grades, so they won't push them to the 10th grade, they hold them back

Tiny little acts of kindness goes such a long way. And yeah. I also listened to a couple of the other stories here, and they're quite moving. I quite like this thread. Thank you for starting. It is what the world needs, I think, people talking about this. Yes. Thank you for starting it is all I want to say right now
