December 14th, 1799: The Strange Death of President George Washington
On this day in history, December 14, 1799, the first President of the United States, George Washington, passed away. The death of George Washington is one that to this very day still stirs quite a bit of discussion amongst US history nerds. In a period of less than two days, the first President of other United States went from tending his crops on horseback to dying under truly bizarre circumstances. I also want to add that the amount of blood that this write up includes this is actually from the Mount Vernon Estate website. It is less than a lot of the reports that I've read in numerous studies as well as seen from other historians. So I want to put that out there. It's interesting that the state of Washington is reporting one number and several researchers and doctors have reported others
