Opera Lover is keen to attract chat about opera & music

Then I started thinking about I'll have one swell per opera, and after 50 days or 100 days or something, there'll be 50 operas. And then I can go back and add extra things about those operas. I can play different versions of particular areas. I had plenty of ambitions because for years on social audio connect with people who love opera

Opera into the #future

And that's a good conversation to have is how has opera moved from the classic stories to modern stories and the accessibility of opera in general in terms of people vibing with the actual story behind the story? So these are all interesting questions, and I'd love your thoughts on them and how you perceive opera as a modern art as opposed to an art of nostalgia and of where it began and what it tells from history and years gone by. More like, how are we moving into opera in the future?

Belated response to Deborah

Deborah, please forgive me. I disappeared from Swell a year ago. I think it was, and for no good reason, really, other than that was active on another social audio app called Lemur. But I'm now back to Swell, and I am going to see if it's possible at all to reengage your interest in this topic and to engage other people's interest in opera

Oh, it's great to hear your voice again. And it's a thought that I really don't know if there's quite an answer to yet. I mean, so it's sort of one that I want to share with you in answering not so much that you have to find the answer. I think there's so many stories that are always being retold and reimagined and reframed

For Deborah - "Amarilli Mia Bella" - early 17th Century song cc @MarkR

Oh, my heart's sweet desire that it is you whom I love believe in my love and if fear besets you don't doubt that it's true open my breast and see written on my heart, Amarillus. And there you have it. A 16th century well, 16th, 17th century song translated from Italian into English song by the guy I think is the greatest tenor of all time who was never trained. Pena Mino Gilli. Especially for you, Deborah

Mark and Deborah, I think you're the only people who contributed here. I have a problem that I'd like to solve, but I can't figure out I can't remember what email address I went to Operalover on. I think, you know, I'm opera lover, but until I haven't had time to check all the email addresses that I've used until I've time to check out and I won't be able to come back as Opera Lover

Hey, Paul, I'm on a train, man. So this is a Central Line train to Woodford. Sorry. So how do you find out? Deborah would be the best person to know how you find out. But can you not change your email address? I'll play around with the settings right now and see what I can see. I wonder if you can change your email address? If not, maybe. Who knows? I don't know. Ask Deborah what happened. Happened?

And then you'll see account. Click account. And then when it brings up your account just under your picture will be the email address that you used. So does this help at all? I
