How can we be our own BEST advocate?

article image placeholderUploaded by @onwardandupward
I come back every single time to this holistic health practitioner who works with me on cleansing my body and giving my body another chance to heal, to be sustainable, to keep on going. So I just want to pose that challenge to you all. What are ways that you either do currently or you think you could do to be your own best advocate for creating wellness in your life? I can't tell you what those things would be

Hey, Adam. Great to hear your voice and the direction that you are in the onward upward. I love it. It's so active. I think that language is a powerful ingredients when it comes to advocating for yourself. Your self care. Your best self. Choosing to be around really good language spoken by others. Choosing to be exposed to good reading. Listening to good music. Listening to good things that are sort of in the realm of positivity

it’s easy to forget that wellness is holistic!

I like to journal out there, but hearing your sword was such a great reminder because I do feel like lately I've kind of fallen off in terms of keeping up with those habits that really keep you well and not just health. And it's a fantastic reminder that we don't need to just keep our bodies going. We need to keep our minds healthy and safe and happy as well. And so I really enjoyed listening to this. Thank you for input and for others inputs in the comments

And meditate doesn't mean whatever we know. Meditation isn't just about sitting and clearing the mind. It can be anything. It can be running, it can be working out, it can be reading, it can be bird watching, it can be anything

And I also think that you are a positive, awesome guy, for sure. So I look forward to hearing more of your self care and also collaborating and responding back and forth with mine as well. So be well. Bye

Hey. Thank you for responding to my Spellcast. Yes, you have a great point with saying it's. We forget that wellness is holistic. I mentioned in another response that you're cognitive, your emotional, your spiritual, your physical, all of those things, social, all connect. As far as wellness, not one is more important than the other. But I'm also a little jealous that you are close to water and get such easy access to that. I love it though

I talk with them, we share time together. And just through just like that relationship and the open discourse you generate with folks, after a while they're going to share something good with you about yourself. You just got to be ready to receive it. And you just got to pay attention, keep the channel clear, just like you're doing. Man, you're detoxing. I'm a vegetarian. I do try to sit still. I read scripture, I try to pray
