Can pop culture exist with out capitalism.

Hey, swells. How's it going out there? And happy Sunday. I want to talk about Star Trek and shows like the Orville. You know, they all have a similar set up society. They all have their society is set up very similar. So let's talk about Star Trek, united Federation of Planet I was looking into this, and what is interesting is that they have this society where there's no property, right? We all know about it

@OmegaStrange (A blender is so the wrong imagery. 🤣 Maybe, something like a crosscut shredder, instead.)

And just because we're not working doesn't mean we can't also have the same things in different ways. Right now, if we were to hold ourselves up inside of our homes and not interact with other people or learn anything or engage in any other activities and essentially become quote unquote, lumps on a log, well, then, yeah, I could see art dying out, but other than that, I think I see a lot more opportunities for art to thrive

🤔

You would find out somebody's program like, man, the way he simulated the 21st century, man, it's amazing, man. It's just like the history book, man, you got to see this dude's version. You got to experience it. I think it would be something like that. And from that it would just be this amazing community of people that love the simulators

Non capitalistic society or non capitalism society? I'm sorry. I just thought it was a fun thought. Wow, if we lived in because from what I understand, Star Trek is not really a socialism society. It's something else. Honestly, I don't even think the creators know what type of society it is. Yeah, I don't know. It sounds interesting. That's all I can say. Pop culture will probably always continue on in some other form. But yeah

I don't know if that's the right way to say it, but what I do know is that the JayZ of the world, like you said, will probably no longer exist. Yeah. You know that once again, bro. Yeah, you know, a lot of these rappers today probably wouldn't exist. I feel like a lot of them get into the business just because they can make money or especially with hip hop, man, it's almost like you get in, then you retire

So obviously there's still some soul there, but I guess it's just a writer's job away from happening. Some writer could have an idea of a pop artist in that particular world. But, yeah, it would be kind of a hard swell because, too, the demographic doesn't want that, right? They want to explore new worlds, new civilizations to boligo where no man has gone before. So how would they react to an episode where Tupac is on their rapping?

I do believe so. Any form of struggle, either physical, emotional, societal struggle, that is where the real most beautiful forms of art come from. And that's the human paradox. I think that you don't want people to be eternally struggling, but from that struggle comes so many beautiful things, and I don't know where I put myself in the thing. Do I wish for human beings to continue to struggle so that they can create beautiful art? No, that would be the worst
@CrusaderWarrior

Star trek may be a vision of the future

It's that you can't work because you can't apply for anything that a robot is already doing. And psychologist on there, some woman wrote on there, well, this would be the time to really discover your creativity and your artistic side. Basically give me boilerplate, like, watered down answers that's like NWO talk. Okay?

@SmVsRaw06Gryper who’s more free?

So you feel I'm just asking you, do you feel those who work have the freedom or do you feel those that that don't work have the freedom? I'm curious as to your thoughts on that

I used to work at the homeless shelter, right? And, man, if there weren't any more beds available, they're sleeping out on the streets or even they may miss a meal. A lot of homeless people can go days without eating. I mean, eating out of the trash can is insane. So, yeah, we live in a society where we don't have the freedom unless we work for it

Hey, how's it going? I want to thank you for replying to this post. So, yeah, you know, I agree with you. Pop art cannot exist without capitalism. And the reason why is because pop pop art, in a lot of ways, is a form of advertisement. That's how I look at it. Maybe it wasn't in the beginning, because pop art cannot exist without pop culture. I feel like pop art advertises pop culture

I am going to assume that Star Trek is similar to the other show you reference, which I forgot the name of and I'm trying to understand, because I don't believe the context of the show is built on pop culture or capitalism or any of that, but I get where you were trying to go with where you were going. I get it. I just don't understand it. And again. I'm not a Trekkey or Star Wars fan or anything like that

So, yeah, I'm pretty sure the reason why you are confused, because it's funny. I was kind of laughing because you said that you were confused, but then you gave your opinion about how pop art has nothing to do with Star Trek. So it sounds like you have watched the show, but then you said you haven't. So, yeah, I think we're both confused. I confused you. You confused me. We're all confused
