Eve of Destruction, Riverdance, PF Sloan, Jimmy Webb, Ukraine

Do you remember 1965? Does this mean anything to you? Well, it either brings back a whole load of memories or it doesn't. This morning, thanks to the persistence of Barbara KB, I booted up a message or I sent a message to Bill Wheelen, who's the guy rolled River Dance. And I said to Bill, I said, do you remember 65? Yeah, of course he did and all that

Barry mcGuire sang "Eve of Destruction" into No 1 in the US charts in 1965. Big thanks to @barbarakb for her persistence in asking me to sing the song

@omaniblog 🕵️‍♀️ #spy

Frankly, the whole world is tired of conflicts in Europe. Let's just go there and yeah, is America going to stick its ground and be more isolationist about this and just send bombs? No, what's going to happen here? What's going to happen Eve of destruction? But yeah, secret agent man, there's a lot of spying going on right now. Lots of spying. And it's not just by the Brits and the Americans anymore. No, we know that

Hello, Paul. Thank you for the song. Thank you for the references. I was born in 1965 and my knowledge about rock music is Patty, but appreciate it. Thanks

I'm asking this probably just projecting my own experience outwards in that the music that I loved during that time of my life has stuck with me as being wonderful for the whole of my life. Absolutely. What I liked in the middle Sixties. I love almost as much today, even though I've become a, as, you know, kind of an opera person. But I've never lost my love for that

He had a Super Tramp vinyl and what else I got to know a Queen at the opera over him as well. He had some completely new Horizons but before that I had listened to a lot of French variety songs and later on I sang in a choir with my father. I got to know some let's say more traditional music and then later at University I got to know and Travinsky as well

Remembering stimuli vs remembering names and info

I'd like to add very briefly that my knowledge of films is similar. I am very sensitive and recording sensitive stimuli like music or films for a long time. I can remember things for a long time. But as to naming things and being an expert at dropping names and all that, keeping all the information as in a litany, then it's not what I do easily or what I'm good at. There we are
