I've got a bit of a habit of putting the year to bed. I've usually called it that on the last day of the year, in the continuous burst of writing, without giving much thought to the lines. This year, I've given a bit more thought than usual. I think I'm slowing down. I

I guess I was thinking about something somebody said to me, another network is that 2000 and 22,021 were, like, one year. And I think that's sort of true. And there's no doubt that we've given up so much changed, so much loss that we've all experienced loss of familiar things, the habitual things that we took for granted

Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much for this open letter to 2021. I thought it was really poetic. I thought it was really profound. But I particularly love this because journaling can be so, so cathartic. And whatever your opinion is or whatever people's reaction is to what you wrote, I thought it was just like a really good look. Like, this is just how I'm feeling about 2021
