VIKINGS - are you interested in them? What do you know about how they lived?

It's a terrific what do they call it? Archaeological remains of Viking settlement in Dublin. So as a consequence, I mean, of all of that introduction, I set back to watch a television series called Vikings, and I've persisted so that I'm now I think about halfway through season four. Why have I stuck with Vikings? Well, before I tell you, have there any chance you've watched it?

One, I once went to a lecture at the University here on the literature of the Vikings and it was a packed room and the lecturer, who was the head of the Scandinavian Languages Department, said she had learned long ago that if she told everyone she was going to give a lecture on the Icelandic Edis, no one would come. If she just changed the name of the same lecture to Literature of the Vikings, she would fill the room and sure enough, she did

I think you're right. Or at least I'd expect you to be right. And that's very interesting to me. I did know that there were Viking DNA in Ireland. Guess I'm one step near to getting my own DNA tested. Now that I've heard this, I wonder if my natural bulliance could in any way be a gift from my Viking heritage. Who knows? Anyway, DNA investigations are certainly very, really interesting, aren't they
