Greatest cricket victory ever?

Oh, it would be so hard to exaggerate the extraordinary events of today. England beat Pakistan with perhaps ten minutes of light left after five days. Now, those of you who know your cricket have been following this match, I'm sure you've been following it ever since the unbelievable first day when England in Pakistan on a pitch that was flat, flat as Wimbleton tennis court, but no grass on Azure Court

Today is the fifth day of the test match between England and Pakistan. Pakistan playing at home. No matter what sport you love most, #Cricket

Oh, the joys of Test cricket. First up, thanks Arish for reselling this. I would have otherwise missed all the excitement from Mr. Murphy's swell. Congratulations, Paul. I think England deserved to win this and make a match out of it from nowhere. I think the key point was the declaration by Mr. Ben Stokes at such a critical juncture that was bold and not to take anything away

Right? And I can hear your excitement, man. Maybe you can find the replay on YouTube. It's got to be on YouTube. It will end up on YouTube. Have a look. Rather than subscribing to Scott just for the replay. If it was to watch the actual game, then that would be great

When it comes to the Baseball Hall of Fame, Paul, there are several potential avenues to the induction, but it can be a bumpy road for all but the most straightforward cases. Paul, you want to know how pet players become elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame? And do you know where the Baseball Hall of Fame is? It's in a little town called Cooper's Town, New York. And sadly, Paul, I've never been there

Greatest cricket victory ever? No, I don't think so. But certainly one of the best ever. And just goes to show the influence that a cricket captain can have on the fortunes of the game. All kudos and praises for Ben Stock for such a daring declaration, especially in view of the fact that the wicket was dull and there was every possibility that the Pakistanis could have scored those runs. Hats off. Certainly a memorable test match

But I'm a very big cricket fan and I followed it a very long time, for a very long time, right back to oh, I'm trying to think of who are the earliest cricketers from Pakistan and India that I used to listen to being described on BBC radio, which is what I grew up with. I grew up listening to test matches on the radio and only much later came to be able to see the matches. But this was something special

Mahan. Forgive me if I've mispronounced your name, but thank you very much for chipping in. Yes, I put the title down. As you know, greatest cricket match ever. Question mark. I don't think it would be be possible to come up with one greatest cricket match ever because there have been so many phenomenal matches over the years, some of which have ended as somebody referred to it as in a draw. There have been some remarkable draws and some remarkable recoveries from apparent complete loss

And indications suggest, insofar, that given the combination, the staging combination of Brendan McCullough and Mr Ben Stokes, that they will continue in a similar way. But funny things happen in cricket, as you know better than I do, and it is a game of glorious uncertainties. And so we'll keep our fingers crossed and enjoy the way it has been played right now and see how it goes in the future
