Motivation by Incapacitation (and not making use of it)

article image placeholderUploaded by @OKRL
Yes, I am back to working out, back to running all that good stuff. But am I as motivated as I was while I was injured? No. When you're healthy and when you're back to comfort, you kind of don't really or me. I should say, I don't really make good on my word. From when I was experiencing the inconvenience a little hard to explain, but, yeah, I just find that interesting

Grace

Wow. I just had to tell you that what you said was so relatable when we're in the flow, we don't know how beautiful the flow is until we're kicked out of it. And we're looking in from the sidelines

Balance

So yeah, I guess just as years went on, I tried by process of elimination to just figure out what makes me feel complete and whole. Even in those moments where I'm feeling like I could be doing more, I try to remind myself this is what I have. This is what I'm dealing with sick or not sick. This is what's on my plate. And I find that, you know, it helps me. It really does

excuse the word vomit

Okay. I'm really frustrated because I just did a whole, like, five minute response to this, and then it got deleted. But I'm going to do it again because I really, really resonated with this. So the first thing that I just noticed was how what you're saying kind of correlates with something that I just learned in one of my classes

A different view

And I'll say, oh, when I have this free time, I'm going to do all these amazing things. I'm going to see these people I haven't seen in a while. I'm going to make music. I'm going to write all these things that I think I can do if I have the time to do them. And like you said, I don't end up doing the things
