Shadows become companions

I am taunted by ghosts harbored in filaments of fading fire silver tongues that lap a copper hot calm longing to be coaxed vying for the light of embers whispering from ashes, urging their seance to be rekindled by breath from a half beset by coals of an aching heart. And yet I do not wallow cold in the clutch of loneliness for the sigh of your name is more than enough. You simmer in my shadows on the brink of reignition like the heat of our moments that slowly came to blaze

Playing with prompts… writing away a sleepless night

I never know how to express the way your poetry makes me feel at an ek. This piece, there's such a slow burn to it. That image of the fire and the embers and the slowly reigniting what maybe once was is just really breathtaking. Such a beautiful job

Greetings, ma'am. Firstly, this piece of poetry, it was just immaculate. I repeat my words immaculate. I am not a person to compliment people that much. And I, being a poetess myself, the word selection, I really love it. It's something which I would like to read. I being a published author myself. I just released my book The Mortal Daffodil and listening to your poetry, it just made me smile. So hats off to you, ma'am
