Exploring Swedish Massage

article image placeholderUploaded by @NouriEnergi
And then there's tapotement or topote, long topotement is like that percussive, rhythmic, like tapping on the body, which also kind of creates a vibration to kind of get things moving, get circulation there. This is a circulation massage, so it does have those benefits of really moving the blood, really getting the Lymph to move, which is why it's used in sports performance massage, because it really gets the toxins out from being in activity, right?

A quick explanation about the Swedish Massage Modality in bodywork. Here’s what to expect and it’s benefits. massage #SwedishMassage #whatisit #hey

This is super duper interesting. I never really thought about the fact that each different type of movement and touch would have its own name. Of course it makes sense, but when you're not on the other end of things and you're just receiving it's, like, oh, you know, this feels good. This feels good. Okay, cool. Not realizing there's probably so much more technicality behind what's happening and the whole process. Office for the mistus themselves

Thank you for listening. Marley so each massage modality has its own secret sauce, its own magic as to why it's a modality all on its own. So just getting out there and exploring all of the different modalities there's hundreds of them. It's like being a part of magic all on its own

So I'd say anyone who takes on massage as, like, a profession, and then if they're heavily empathic, which side note, I think we're all really empathic, but that's beside the point. I think that there's so much what I would need the education on, obviously, yes, on some of the techniques, but I would also need so much education on clearing the energy and not absorbing it into my life and my body. So maybe they go over that

Thank you, Ty, for listening. So in massage school, depending upon what your focus is, at least at the one I went to, depends on how much they teach you how to protect your energy. Regular manual massage, they teach you about Transparent, just regular energetic transparence. But I took a program that gives you an associate, so it was two years. And I took mine with the emphasis in cranial sacral reflexology and sports medicine

But I'm able to take pointers and notes and understandings and little techniques because I'm just paying attention to the massage practice that I'm participating in and I'm able to just kind of hold on to those and practice those with my partner or another friend who may be going through a tense time. But ultimately I just think it's so magical. I think it's so helpful and so beautiful to be able to just I don't know, it's so caring. It's so caring
