Is There Such Thing As Too Much Soy??

article image placeholderUploaded by @Noalily
Swell universe. I'm here asking for advice and knowledge because I have spent my whole life under the impression that having too much soy or that like having soy in large amounts is bad for you because it has estrogen in it, which in women, if you have too much estrogen, it can cause breast cancer

Genuinely curious about this, please lmk

Stop in the name of love

Big advice. Stop eating tofu, but not for the reason to think. Just stop eating it because it's giving you anxiety. And there are too many schools of thought around it. And the whole conversation about hormones and estrogen. It's been big conversation. It's old and people are having it and they'll have it again. There'll be studies. Stop eating it because there are enough protein rich food combinations that you can really start really dropping into

@Noalily @DBPardes

What else do I have to say about this? Because it's just something that I've been paying attention to and studying for quite a long time. I think I've said it all though. So yeah, it's in moderation, but pay more attention to where it's sneaking into your other food and try to enjoy the actual tofu and things like that to a lesser degree. I think sometimes what you're eating it with does depend as well. It does have an impact as well

And Jessica said, Sorry if I mispronounced your name or that's not your name. There are a lot of alternative protein sources that you can use and utilize any nuts. Pretty much cashews, almonds, peanuts, peanut butter, as long as it's natural organic, low in sodium a teaspoon here. There has plenty of protein. There are lentils, which is something that was also mentioned
