Spontaneity vs. Stability

And it made me kind of, like rethink my whole life because I used to think that I really loved the summer and, like, summer breaks. But I'm now kind of remembering that as a child they sucked because I didn't have any stability. If I wasn't doing, like, a summer camp or had something to look forward to, even if I hated the camp, I was really depressed

Where are you on this spectrum?

Within structure so much freedom

The other thought I have about summers reflecting back on seasonal living, especially when you're defining life a little bit by semesters the way we do when we're in University. I think some people love the freedom of summers to travel and to see what hits them, but then there's that sense of belonging to a community that has goals, where those goals relate to some kind of growth, and some summers are more geared towards growth, and other summers are geared towards just freedom

And maybe there's something like, for me, what pops the top of my head really crazy and random, but I always wanted to know how to tap dance, and I've never even really taken dance lessons Besides from when I was a kid. So if I had two months and didn't know what to do, I'd create a schedule and a plan and a timetable of learning the basics and like, seeing how far I can get

I've kind of, like, seen this a lot in, like, my exercising a lot because I will go so hard in an exercise class because I feel like I'm being instructed and I feel like it's, like, somewhat collaborative. I don't know if it's really collaborative because it's like an individual workout, but you just feel like you're part of a community when you're working out, like, in a group setting
