Is a child worse off living with same sex parents?

I think I do understand this is what was conventional in the past, but there are all sorts of reasons why young people and children are brought up in different environments other than having a mum and a dad. Some kids are, of course, actually brought up by their grandparents or auntie's uncles, and it doesn't mean that they have less of an experience or that they are lacking in something for me and my child

Because the more people are more men or the more of the community that's responsible feel responsibility for the child's survival. The child has a better chance of surviving learning skills, adapting, growing up, whatever the case, may be making it. And I thought, wow, this is kind of cool. You know what I mean? And because this kid is never going to be a fatherless kid, right?

And as I said, for somebody who has worked with children and care for a number of years, I've seen the amount of children that have been or given up for a number of reasons who just need and want a home and parents. And there are people out there who have so much love and a safe, nurturing environment to give but are barred from doing that and then stopping children from having access to that

I don't think it is a matter of symbols, but it rang a Bell as well with some things that some psychologists say in relation to these archetypes male and female, and they are important for the construction of the psyche. But do you really have to have these two poles around a child all the time, or is it enough to have male friends of the family or male relatives all around of both sexes? This is enough to have a balanced child

I just wanted to mention something about the studies that you mentioned that some studies state that there is a positive for our children are better off having a male and female presence. It's quite interesting because there are so many studies showing that there are no better or worse outcomes for children being raised in same sex households like parenting or heterosexual parents like Mum and dad
