What does being an Ally really mean?

article image placeholderUploaded by @NLOFrank
The term ally is being brought up quite a lot. And for some people, it seems that they feel that they have been asked for bullets for people. And then I'm hearing people who have been allies but are calling themselves allies, but are they really being an ally? So for me, being an ally is standing with somebody who is in a minority group, in a minority community and saying, hey, I am not in this community, but I stand with you

If somebody was to say to me in general, as I think you have what, what, what, what, what does being an ally really immediately think about the allies in the Second World War who fought alongside each other against the Nazis, against Germany and against the alliance between Germany and Italy. I guess that allies. Yeah. You have to fight together to be an ally. You can't be an ally by sitting on the fence and saying, I wish you well

So it's very much linked with me to LGBTQ plus and to the famed community and people with disabilities. I've kind of almost forgotten that actually the term ally was once used in a different way for creating an alliance and with walls and things like that. So thank you very much for your thoughts. And I'm really glad that you sent this reply
