What a huge difference small acts can make - aka how many ways can I say little? 😂

Hey lovelies, I wanted to share with you some stories in regards to my previous place of work, my previous office and my current place of office. You may have heard if you've listened to some of my other. I've mentioned a few times that I didn't have a very happy time in my other office and I wanted to quickly talk about that

@NLOFrank Thank you for sharing

Hi, Tasha. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this because that's such an awful experience as anyone to go to through, like, especially when it comes to work. Like to be told that your your gender doesn't matter and shouldn't be worthy of any respect. Day in, day out, nine till five days a week. That's such a long time to be told those things

And the people who feel at the most are people who are directly affected by it. It was definitely an experience that opened my eyes not just with what happened in a negative way, but I didn't realize how bad it was affected me until actually, I received positive, more positive experience by my new manager and new team because what happened was I actually felt uncomfortable being treated nicely because I realized that I came to realize that I hadn't been supportive like that in that way before

@NLOFrank Queer friendly spaces are a source of strength

And I'm just slightly more accustomed to the awkwardness. But yeah, I went to my partners in York, and so all of their friends are either queer or they've been around this group so long that they are so keyed in, like, they know how to do pronouns without a second thought. And they're really respectful and just a lovely bunch, really
