Alrighty, you guys, I am back. This is Nisah from Nissa's Audio and I am back with another poem. This is one of my favorite poems that I have written because as a Pakistani and a Muslim member American, I have never written a poem in my native language, which is Urbu. And it's kind of like a lovely to my little sister who's eight years younger than me and yet she just loves to sass me

Hey, Nisah, thanks so much for sharing. I too am an older sister to a little sister, and this is very relatable in a lot of ways, so it was fun to listen to. I love that you called it a love letter to your little sister, and that's just so beautiful and sweet and heartcentered. But yes, it's interesting because we hope that the bruises that we have will show them to take other paths, but sometimes that's the case, sometimes it's not

Greetings nisah scalad. I have just listened to your poem and I am delighted. It is a tender, loving, often adorable o to your younger sister. And she she is so fortunate to have you as an older sister, as a confidant, as a friend. It's an absolutely beautiful homage to her. So kudos to you. I enjoyed the tonal quality of your voice and how you laid out this wonderful piece of work. It made me smile, and I want to thank you for that

So, yeah, this is really fun to write this poem because I never really write personal poetry that well. I just don't really like writing love poems because I feel like it's kind of a little bit cheesy for me because I feel like I'll get too over carried away or it's just like it's not genuine enough. I don't know. Yeah, and also, thank you for sharing that tip

But I followed this poet, Franco Hera, his writing style, because one of my poetry teachers, they gave us an assignment, and I was like, you know what? Write this poem in this style. So I did, and it was really fun writing about my little sister, who can be an angel and also a rascal. Sometimes being an older sister is the challenge because sometimes with that age gap or eight year age gap, there's a lot of differences

Hey, Nisah. Okay. I am the person who can relate to your poem a lot. Like, I have a younger sister, and she's yes, she's high outside, but she's very comfortable with me. Even she he's my elder sister at house. He teaches me things she makes me understand. She is very I am blessed having her, really. I don't know how can she be so good? And I really love her. And she loves me, too

Because as an older as the oldest kid, you know, daughter of immigrants, you know, I didn't really grow up with experiences that I wanted to have, but I'm spending with her. So, yeah, it's just she's, like, truly my best friend. It's kind of weird, like, how she's a kid and she's my best friend, but having so many fake friends here and there, she's always the one who's there for me
