Working on a draft… thoughts?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Nisahs_Audio
This was the year like 7th grade was such a pivotal year for me, I think, because that's where I discovered creative writing for the first time. And I figured and it was like just start I was starting out as a hobby, so I was in the phase of from hating writing to loving or like liking it. And then in high school, I started to love it and embrace it and finally call myself a writer

Heres a poem i started but never finished. What are youre thoughts? Also anyone interested in a swell workshop? #poetrymonth #poetry

Hey, there. Thank you for inviting me to this piece. I don't really have any suggestions for the piece other than it's the beginnings of a fire piece of poetry. You definitely have to finish it, and I think what you already have is great. I think it's fantastic. I love nature poetry, and specifically poetry about trees is some of my favorite. The very first poem I ever wrote when I was five years old was entitled I Love Trees

They'll set you up full arms and whatnot. And I really appreciate that you stopped by and gave a reply. I am definitely going to go on and finish the piece because I try not to leave pieces unfinished, but finals week is going to be a little rough. But yeah, thanks. I'll definitely continue this. Yeah. Nature and the earth, like you said, it's great

Ah, thank you. Thank you. Okay. So that gives me a lot of faith to finish this piece or, like, be one of my top priorities to finish. Because I don't know about you, but sometimes I just write pieces and then I just stop because the inspiration isn't there. Or the feeling that I had a few minutes ago just like, oh, that kind of sounded weird. What kind of accident I put on?

But then when spring comes, you have those little green leaves, like, sprout at the buds. So I think I was using the trees as a way to comfort the narrator who's like going through all these emotions that they can't really comprehend themselves. So it was quite interesting to see to see your perspective. Because that's why sometimes as a writer, we know what we're talking about. But with other people, when our readers read our works, we get a different perspective
