Retro Review: The Big Lebowski (1998)

article image placeholderUploaded by @nightshiftvideo
The dialogue is sharp and witty and memorable, and the film is full of hilarious and absurd moments that are sure to leave you laughing, even though some of them, like Walter pulling a gun out in the bowling alley, definitely don't play the same way today as they did in 1998. The Big Lebowski also features an excellent soundtrack that perfectly complements the film's quirky tone. The use of music is particularly effective, with each song adding to the film's atmosphere and enhancing the overall viewing experience

But these friends of mine were huge fans of The Big Lebowski and I had expressed that I hadn't seen it, and they basically said, okay, we're not doing a bad movie next week. We're doing Lebowski, which is anything but a bad movie. And I really enjoyed it. I think it's such a quotable movie, especially the stuff with Jesus Quintana in the bowling alley

You. I actually am surprised that I didn't watch The Big Lebowski sooner in life just because growing up with my friends, we were all movie buffs, actually. They were. And they just told me what to watch. Like, for example, I blindly went with them to see Eyes Wide Shut. I had no idea what it was about and and that's how I got into Stephen Cooper. That's how I got into Stanley Cooper. Excuse me, Steven. That's his brother
