Fitness Myths: Fat does NOT turn into muscle

Now, but there is a type of weight while you're building muscle that does kind of make you feel like you're plateauing. That's when you're actually sore. When you're really sore, your muscles are shredded. The way that I look at it is like wet wood surrounded by sawdust. So that sawdust dry doesn't weigh much. But just imagine if you cut into a log all over the place. You kind of just shaved the top surface wet. It kept all of those shavings

It's like my muscles have and that was where my brain, on a very elementary level, was processing it as was, oh, you haven't worked out in two days, so your muscles have had an opportunity to heal and get into the place where they need to be that you've been working them out to do. And I notice I have a more chiseled, slimmer look, which I will instantly hop on the scale when those moments happen
