How do interest rates go up ?

It yields a certain amount of money per month or per year, depending on what type of treasury it is, and it'll give you some fraction of a sense with the goal of giving you the percentage called the coupon. Now, how does the Fed mechanically make how do interest rates go up? That's complicated here's, in a nutshell, how you should picture this working. Say, I have a bond that's worth $100 and it yields $10

Hey, Nick, this was an excellent first. Swell. First of all, welcome to the platform. Also, I don't know much about this particular subject, but I always love learning. And I feel feel like whenever I try to learn more about anything that has to do with finance or investing or interest rates or pretty much anything that has to do with money, I quickly become overwhelmed because whenever I'm reading an article, I honestly don't know what they're talking about

Taylor, thank you for the voice note. I'm always glad to hear somebody's learning and learned something. I love the positivity. But essentially for these types of lessons, you really have to they say, put your thinking cap on. But really you need to kind of envision these things in your mind. It's almost like closing your eyes and picturing these things happening in those instructional videos that they used to show you in school with assembly lines and things like that
