On top of that, the company generated far more revenue per new hire than its peers, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. So that more cautious approach is paying off now though, Apple has frozen hiring in some areas and is keeping a lid on spending on especially outside research and development

Hi neha and it's true that Tech Industries downfall is going on it's the biggest session and layoffs are like people they are leaving the skilled workers and people in out and they are in a very very bad condition right now because many companies companies started doing this and they are not able to find a suitable company now. People will announce hiring in droves like 10,000 15,000. And then when time comes because the pressure, the underlying pressure is when businesses need to grow. They need to grow rapidly. They scale fast and in doing so they sometimes manage to overhire. And so when these layoffs happen usually they are divided into two parts essential workforce and overlay workforce
