What’s your favorite cheesy sequel horror film that has nothing to do with the original film?

Here's a short plot. When Hamilton highs prom Queen of Mary Lou Maloney is killed by her jolted boyfriend, she comes back for revenge. 30 years later, Bill Northam is now the principal of Hamilton High and his son is about to attend the prom with Vicky Carpenter. However, she is possessed by Mary Lou after opening a trunk in the school's basement. Now Bill must face the horror he left behind back in 1956

I forgot who was the director of the original one, but, yeah, this one, they basically just bastardized the name and used it to sell this movie, but sort of the same concept, but not really. She's not as much of a psycho as the first one was just awesome. But, yeah, this is my take on that topic

Yeah, she's pretty sly and clever in it and whacked out of her mind. Obviously, I remember the DVD cover with her with, like, kind of a sickle thing if I can remember correctly on the front of it and there's blood likes splattering off of it. The film didn't do well. It bombed as expected, but it was entertaining, man. So, yeah, I did see that. I did enjoy it
