Nic Cage : a hack actor who chooses bad roles or a quirky fun decent actor ?

article image placeholderNic Cage’s new film
What's up, people? It's Neil D back again with another film segment. I just received the extended trailer for Willie's Wonderland, and as I was watching it, it got me to thinking, Nick Cage fan or not a fan, because I know there's been always a big controversy behind Nicholas Cage. Is he a hack actor? Does he play the same dictation and acting performance in every role? Does he pick really s***** films to do?

Willy’s Wonderland just received the ext trailer. Inspired my question Nic Cage bad actor in crappy films or fun and quirky talented actor?

So I do wonder how it's not being sued, but other than that, I don't care. I'm here for Cage in it. I'm here for its premise. I don't know, man. I just think movies. Bye

And that's why I did this post and you like quite a bit of his films and that's cool. And so I guess you're Team Cage and you like to look at them, which is a little different from me. I enjoy his acting performances. Is he the best actor? No. Absolutely not. But he's fun to watch and he's unpredictable and there's no denying that he's been in some really good films. And City of Angels is definitely a really good romantic film

Anyway, I find him extremely engaging and he's just really fun to watch. And he's not the greatest actor. No, absolutely not. But he's been in some really good films. If you go back and look at his filmography, he's done some really exceptional films. He's done a lot of crappy films, too, but he's done some really fantastic films also. And I personally enjoy his tics and his lunatic rants

Mandy and Colour Out of Space were AWESOME!

Lately, I have seen some movies with Nicholas Cage in a starring role that I really do believe added to his library of excellent performances. So if you have not seen the film Mandy, I would check it out. It is a very interesting movie. I don't want to say too much because it is a film that is very surprising and a sort of fun wild ride while also being sort of demented at the same time. And he really drives that entire film

What's up, Taylor? Thanks for the input. And yeah, he does have a huge ceiling. And like I said, he can either really carry a film or he can kind of lay in the background. And I think you made a really good point with he tends to shine in smaller, more indie films

Neil, you know what? I cannot wait for years from now when someone is going to University and they get to enroll in a cage and film study course. You just invented something there. I think it's awesome. Awesome. I can't wait for it because one day there is going to be a course like that where they now analyze this guy's career, because there's all the reasons that he went into doing these sort of B and C tier films for financial reasons, personal reasons
